Morning Breakfast

I've been asked a lot of what I eat for breakfast... So I thought this would be a great post ..

BREAKFAST is the morning important meal of the day!!! People should NEVER EVER skip breakfast.

So back to what I eat.. LOL

My husband got me into eating Oatmeal. Yes oatmeal. I use to dislike it because it did not have any flavor. I use to get the flavored instant oatmeal and well they arent the healthiest ones either.  So my breakfast consist of OATMEAL with a sliced banana.  I get any oatmeal (Target brand, Quaker, etc) but I believe the steal oats are the best ones. 

So 1/2 a cup of oatmeal and a full banana. :) Yes ohhh and coffee! This is what my breakfast looks like. I got to tell you when I eat this I dont get hungry at all until lunch. I skip my snack in between those 2 big meals. YUP! Oatmeal is great.  Here is why:

1. oatmeal may help lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease.
2. oatmeal can help you control your weight
3.  oatmeal may reduce the risk for type 2 diabetes.
4. Oatmeal contains a wide array of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants
and so much more...
(Google it) :)



So next time you are looking for a healthy morning breakfast GRAB some oatmeal :)
